AUDIO RESEARCH SP-9

The SP9 Hybrid Stereo Preamplifier represents a continuation of the electronic design ''philosophy'' first embodied in the Audio Research SPll. 

Using only two 6DJ8 vacuum tubes (one in the phono section and one in the high-level stage), the SP9 expresses the musicality and naturalness tube preamplifiers have been noted for, yet does so with the quickness and dynamic vigor of the best solid-state designs.

In addition, the SP9 will undoubtedly prove to be one of the most reliable and minimal-maintenance Audio Research preamps ever - 10,000 hours of service life are possible before replacement of the two vacuum tubes might be necessary according to Audio Research.
