Audio Years 1990

The S-750 was Roland's S-7XX series digital sampler, featuring 16-bit sampling at frequencies up to 48 kHz. It is almost identical to the S-770, which also featured an internal 40 MB SCSI drive and S/PDIF outputs.

The S-750 features 24 voices of polyphony and 16-part multitimbrality, allowing numerous samples and voices to be superimposed. A patch can contain up to 8 superimposed or separate samples. Each voice has a time-varying filter (TVF) and amplifier (TVA), each with its own 5-segment envelope and shared LFO. The resonant digital filter is multimode (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass).
