Sampleur synthesizer professional

Audio Years 1986

The S900 sampler was Akai's first truly professional sampler, released in 1986. Its sampling specifications were of professional quality at the time: 12-bit stereo sampling, variable sampling rates from 7.5 kHz to 40 kHz, and a maximum of 63 seconds of sampling at 7.5 kHz. Up to 32 samples can be created and stored on disk with all editing parameters. This was one of the first rack-mounted samplers to use a built-in disk drive. Although the drive could load sounds while you played, it was still a very slow process. Functions: radio alarm clock
